The Mindfulness group usually meets via Zoom. However, with the sustained summer-like weather we decided to take it outside and walk mindfully. On October 3, we met at the Bath Road entrance to the Parrot Bay conservation area and agreed to walk in silence (mostly) to the bridge . Everyone was encouraged to walk at their own pace and so the group became quite stretched out. At the bridge some of us gathered together briefly for a picture before we started back.
Looking, listening, stopping now and then to sit, or look up, smell the autumn smells and feel the warm sun. a brief respite from daily tasks and concerns, an opportunity to just be.
