Who We Are

We belong to the United Church of Canada. We are located in the west end of Kingston, Ontario, near the intersection of Days and Front Rds, at 1 Redden St.

Weekly Worship

Our weekly worship takes place in our church on Sundays at 10 AM. The services are also live streamed to our Facebook page: (https://www.facebook.com/St.AndrewsByTheLakeUnitedChurch), where they remain available for viewing at your convenience.

Other Services

In addition to weekly worship services, we have numerous other activities including:

Faith, Film and Fiction Group: Faith, Film and Fiction is a discussion group which meets from 6:30 to 8 pm the first Tuesday of each month from February through June and October through December. Participants look at the religious and spiritual dimension of a film and/or novel and are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions.

The Men’s Group: On the third Sunday of each month from October to April, the Men’s Group meets in the library from 8:30 to 9:30 am before worship service. We discuss various topics such as demographics, social concerns such as racism, immigration concerns and the importance of critical thinking. Coffee and muffins are usually served. New members are always welcome.

Mindfulness Group: This Group explores mindfulness and meditation. No experience necessary. Through discussion, videos and meditations the Group delves into the practice of mindfulness. Meets Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am.

The Prayer Chain: The Prayer Chain, composed of a few church members and the minister, receives prayer requests and offers daily prayers as requested.

The Women’s Spirituality Circle: Throughout the year, meetings are held the third Thursday of the month from September to June in a variety of settings; homes, the church lawn, Centennial Hall and full-on Zoom meetings. Various topics are chosen for discussion, and there have been field trips.

Walking Groups: Meet Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 am in the church parking lot. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing and a mask.
