Minister – The Rev. Christine Sloan

Rev. Christine Sloan has had the honour and privilege of ministering at St. Andrew’s By-The-Lake United Church since July 2018. She was ordained in 2010 and served the Bath Morven Pastoral Charge for 8 and a half years before coming to St. Andrews. Christine is passionate about creating safe and welcoming spaces where all can feel empowered on their spiritual path.

Musical Director – Barbara Szarek

Barbara holds a B.Mus. in piano and voice as well as a M.Mus in voice and drama. ​ She performs on both piano and organ for our worship services, and applies her extensive experience in vocal performance and teaching to her leadership of our choir.

Church Administrator – Negar Kachfi

Whether you come in to the St. Andrew’s By-the-Lake office or contact us by email or phone, Negar will be happy to assist you. She handles general church inquiries, rental bookings and acts as the liaison with other church staff for scheduling events such as weddings and celebrations of life. Negar brings her background in business management to her work at the church.
