Remembrance Sunday at St. Andrew’s By-The-Lake
On November 10, we had the Bayridge Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers join our service for
Remembrance Day. We had more than 25 youth, as well as leaders and families, join us for
worship.
During church, the younger ones worked on a service project. In coordination with Veterans
Affairs Canada, we made Valentines for Vets. The valentines thank those who serve in the
Canadian Armed Forces, and who may not be able to spend Valentine’s Day with friends, family,
or loved ones. Our thoughtful valentines will be distributed by Veterans Affairs Canada, to make
sure that all people serving feel loved and cherished.
